AUDIENCE ATTENTION TIPS FOR CARD TRICKS:
When you have people helping you with your card trick magic do not freeze out the rest of the audience by just talking to your magic helpers. Make sure you are always communicating with the rest of your audience. Always make eye contact with them and pull them into your performance. Your job as a magician is to entertain your audience, so making a connection with them is very important.
For example if you want someone to sign a playing card for your trick you could ask them to do so by communicating this request thorough the audience. Say to your audience I would like Jane to sign this card with her signature. By telling Jane what you want her to do through the audience it will ensure that you are always maintaining contact with your spectators.
By the way if any of you figure this trick out bear in mind you can also use it for street magic as long as you don't mind spreading the cards on the floor, so pick somewhere nice.
